Jessica offers prior industry experience outside of State Farm and is deeply passionate about helping others understand their options. • It’s about remembering, not celebrating: Unlike many holidays, Memorial Day is solemn—it’s meant to honor the service members who died.

• It wasn’t always “the last Monday”: The “last Monday in May” date came from a 1968 law that made it a consistent federal holiday.
